Field Station Guest Cabins are constructed with local hardwoods and thatched roofs, then landscaped with blooming ginger and other native plants.

Early morning risers can relax on the private veranda of their cabin and enjoy a serene view of purple-grey clouds over the Essequibo River.

Welcome to Iwokrama Forest! Guests are greeted with warm smiles and fresh juice or water after their journey into the bush.

Visitors are given a brief orientation and introduction to the Field Station and the work of Iwokrama. |

Clean and comfortable Guest Cabins offer double and single beds with mosquito nets, window curtains and screens, and a private washroom.

Dining at the Field Station offers panoramic views, a well-appointed table, and deliciously satisfying meals. |

After a day of adventure, Guests Cabins reward guests with modern conveniences such as electric lighting and a modern washroom with a basin, flush toilet, and shower.

Larger groups and families may be comfortably accommodated in any one of the Guest Cabins.

Fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats are prepared in a well-equipped kitchen by skilled staff such as Olinda Robertson. Much produce is now grown on the property. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice.

For large group conferences or by other special arrangements, visitors will find the staff dormitories quite comfortable, with mosquito nets, electric lighting, window screens and curtains, and common washrooms. |
