Welcome to the second Iwokrama E-newsletter. Iwokrama continues to develop after the substantial changes of the last six months. We are now building on the foundation of social and ecological research that occurred from 1998 to 2002. Local Community and Private Sector Consortium Wins Iwokrama Canopy Walkway Consession
Canopy Walkway Wilderness Explorers, Rock View Lodge, and Surama Village in the North Rupununi will manage and market the 134 metre Iwokrama Canopy Walkway which will be a focal draw point for tourism in Guyana.
