Objective of the Guidelines and Research Agreements
The objective of these Guidelines is to ensure that research is conducted in a collaborative manner, and where possible incorporates the research priorities and objectives of Iwokrama. Research should promote and assist in the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable use of its components, and should not cause damage to biodiversity.
