Building Individual, Organizational and Institutional Capacities for Ecological Sustainable Tourism Development and Fisheries Management in the North Rupununi

The project activities include:

1. NRDDB project management and organizational strengthening;

2. Participatory and collaborative planning for community management areas;

3. Development of curricula and implementation of training courses in fisheries and natural resource management and tourism business development;

4. Participatory planning for sustainable community tourism development and enhancement of existing community tourism products;

5. NRDDB web site established and maintained;

6. North Rupununi research and tourism networks established and enhanced.
